Following up on an older post, I decided to use a level 76 BST to determine the lowest level a jug pet could be summoned at. Unfortunately for me, I could not find anyone to help out, so I decided to use the opportunity to level my BST mule to 76 (and later 90).
Not surprisingly, using Healing Salve I under 50% HP yielded three different amounts for a lvl 76 BST with no Monster Gloves. Since a jug pet's level is directly proportional to its HP, we can conclude that the "jug pets are summoned 0-2 levels below their master" rule seems consistent across the board.
